Binyamin Basteker, the Jerusalem-based artist renowned for his abstract interpretations of traditional Jewish themes, is being featured at Central Galleries, a full-service fine art gallery located in Cedarhurst, Long Island, New York. 

Born in 1953 in Mumbai, India, Basteker relocated to Israel in 1969, where he pursued art studies at Kalisher College of Art in Tel Aviv. His career includes teaching positions and numerous solo exhibitions, notably at venues like the Artist's House in Tel Aviv and the Jerusalem Theater.

Central Galleries is showcasing a collection of Basteker's works. These artworks exemplify his ability to transform rhythm into color and sound into strokes, offering a unique perspective on subjects such as the Western Wall. 

Central Galleries, established in 1985, boasts over 30 years of experience in the art industry. The gallery has expanded multiple times, now residing at a larger location on Spruce Street in Cedarhurst.
