The lights of the menorah, hover above what looks like water, clouds and sky. The flames seem to be rising from deep waters, almost suspended in the air, spreading out it’s glow in abstract dancing flames. The branches of the menorah, highlighted with silver leaf, bring out the light, reflected in the water and sky. The cool blues and green are calming and contemplative. In contrast, the warm golden flames are energizing. The painting encourages our eyes and mind to wander into a more spiritual realm where the menorah is suspended in heaven.
