At first glance, the viewer experiences the mystic of Chinese calligraphy. The decorative touch is slowly revealed as we understand the text and search for the Hebrew letters. "V'ahavta", (You shall love). Love is a fundamental value in Jewish observance. We are instructed to love G-d (v'ahavta et Hashem), to love our others (v'ahavta l'reacha kamocha), to love the ger (v'ahavta et a ger) among just a few.
